
To advance knowledge sharing and explore innovative paradigms of English teaching suited to Sino-Foreign Joint Education contexts, we cordially invite Sino-Foreign joint venture or program managers, native speaking and Chinese English instructors, linguistic scholars and experts and etc. to contribute to our symposium. We welcome research papers, teaching reflections, case studies, and practice-based reports that address theoretical or practical aspects of English language education in joint program contexts.

Panel 1: EAP Teaching Models and Cross-cultural Competence Development in Sino-Foreign Joint Education
This panel explores how English for Academic Purposes (EAP) instruction supports students in Sino-Foreign Joint Education in developing both academic language proficiency and cross-cultural competencies. It focuses on innovative EAP curriculum and pedagogical frameworks that facilitates students' transition from domestic secondary education to international higher education contexts. The panel will also explore how EAP instruction can enhance students’ language awareness across different linguistic systems and cultivate cross-cultural competencies essential for success in internationalized learning contexts.
Panel 2: AI-Enhanced Innovation in English Language Education in Sino-Foreign Joint Education
This panel explores opportunities and challenges of AI in English teaching in Sino-Foreign Joint Education. Discussion topics include AI-assisted classroom instruction, innovative methods for assessment and feedback. The panel will also examine how AI technologies can empower both teachers and students to engage more effectively in language learning process.
Panel 3: Teacher Development and Collaboration in Sino-Foreign Joint Education
This panel addresses the professional development and collaboration of English teachers in Sino-Foreign Joint Education. Topics include teacher training systems, reflective practice and continuous professional development (CPD) tailored to multilingual, intercultural educational contexts. The panel will also examine collaborative partnerships between domestic and international faculty, as well as cooperation models between subject and language instructors working within multilingual, intercultural contexts. Issues regarding non-linguistic professional development of using English as instruction medium in subject teaching will also be addressed.
3.Presentation Format
l Selected contributions will be included in one of the parallel panels.
l Each presenter will be allocated 20 minutes, followed by discussion.
l Presentations can be delivered in English or Chinese.
4.Publication Opportunities
l Accepted presenters may submit full papers for compilation.
l Outstanding submissions may be considered for publication by BJUT Publication House.
5.Submission Requirements
l Abstract Length: no more than 600 words.
l Abstract Submission Deadline: August 1st, 2025
l Notification of Acceptance: No later than August 30th, 2025
